Nancy advises students interested in law, government and policy and serves as Bowdoin’s pre-law advisor. She also specializes in early engagement of students and advises those who are undecided about their career options. Nancy has experience with various career assessments and is credentialed to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and Strong Interest Inventory®.
For more than 20 years, Nancy practiced law and taught at Northwestern University School of Law and the University of Maine Law School. She has also provided professional development and career counseling to lawyers and legal organizations. Nancy received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and B.S. in Psychology and Political Science from Tufts University. She is a Vice President of NAPLA, the Northeastern Association of Prelaw Advisors.
In her free time, Nancy likes to explore Maine and travel with her husband and enjoys Mediterranean cooking.
